April 4, 2015

Between Good Friday, when Jesus Christ died and Easter, when He rose from the grave.

For some, Christmas is the greatest time of the year.  Celebrating Christ's birth brings great joy.  For me, Easter is my greatest time.

We know that Jesus Christ was born, lived a sinless life, was crucified, buried, and on the third day, rose from the grave.

All this was by God's design in providing salvation, a payment for our sin.  Our responsibility is to accept this gift from God.  By Accepting Jesus Christ into or lives, we are accepting His payment; His death on the Cross, to satisfy a holy God's requirement, resulting in being born-again, i.e., being saved.

This picture is my favorite!  I see a risen Christ in the waterfall.  Can you see the outline?

Click on picture to enlarge it.

I can see the head, the eyes, the beard, the shoulders, and the torso.  If you cannot see it, the picture on the bottom has a red line around the area of which I speak.

"...seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence."  - II Peter 1:3.

Someone has said, "Know Jesus; know life, no Jesus; no life."

Want to know more?  So did the Psalmist!

"Open my eyes, that I may behold Wonderful things from Your law."  -- Psalm 119:18

By accepting Jesus Christ and His payment for our sins, having given his life on the Cross, as full payment, not a down-payment, a full payment for our sin, we are saved.

We are born-again into the family of God.

He is risen, indeed!

Happy Easter
