September 25, 2016

We are in Highlands, NC near the end of Linda's Birthday Week.  Yesterday, we spent most of our time in downtown Highlands.  I did have an opportunity to get some reading done while Linda visited the shops.

We did stop at Dry Falls at the end of the day.  The access to the falls is easy and you can walk under the falls.  One of the pictures was taken directly from under the falls.

The fern was outside a gift shop on the way into Highlands.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Yesterday, Linda went with a couple of neighbors to an antique shop.  So, I headed off to Gibbs Garden.  I enjoy taking pictures there, even if I have taken it before.  Each time presents itself with something unique.  A few steps to the left or a few to the right changes perspective.

I like the reflections on the Japanese Garden ponds, the Hydrangeas, the Monet Bridge, and so many other things that are there.

Day One...

We arrived in Dublin, Ireland about 9:00 am, Dublin time, and then drove across the country to Galway, where will be staying in what was a Coach House and has been converted to very  nice living quarters.  Very nice!

We walked around Galway that evening and these pictures are of the area.  I did included some from early the next morning, before we went out to explore.  Those pictures will be post on Day Two.
