April 12, 20125

We spent the evening in Griffin, GA and found two nice antique shops.  Then it was on to Senoia, GA.

Quaint, picturesque, and a little walk back in time.  Very definitely a tourist stop.  If you go to the following link, you can see why some call Senoia "The Hollywood of the South."

This is a shot of the center of town, that has all kinds of shops...mostly for 'you know who,' but there are a number of benches for the rest of us.

We did drive by the home of "Driving Miss Daisy" and Fried Green Tomatoes" was filmed.

On the way home, we stopped by Starrs Mill, which is outside of Senoia on State Route 85.  Great place and the view can easily be seen on the other side of the river.  We have been here before and noted that one of the scenes in "Sweet Home, Alabama" was filmed.  It was the glass shop, although, only the exterior was used.  The interior is an old mill.

No, that is not Reese Witherspoon...
